The goal in life is to live it to the fullest. We all have things we want to accomplish and with us surviving the first of twelve months for this new year, I'm pretty sure that you're well on your way to accomplishing your huge goals!

Through the last few weeks, I have seen tons of articles and social media postings on the universe guiding me towards my current goal. One post stuck out, bright and clear-

“You are worth what you negotiate, not what they give you”.

Every time I post on my social media, I ask my readers if they are able to feel the words. There are wonderful ways that transparency can touch our souls.

Understanding your worth and your capability allows you to never sell yourself short. Remember a few posts ago, I wrote about my friend Karen? Well, something I didn’t explain to you is that she has certain principles and guidelines that she went through before accepting the job offer that was well below her desired pay grade.

Below, I will outline those principles to you to ensure in preparing for your goals that you are selling yourself in the best way possible.

ATTENTION & INTENTION- Development is key. What is the intention set for your goal? Are you running from something or are you elevating yourself? How will this prepare you to step into your desires? Are you prepared for the things you are seeking? Are you absolutely aware of the decision and potential consequences of your decision?

Can you perform your task successfully? Are you taking necessary steps to enrich your skills? Are you embracing the wrong people, things, or past emotions that could subconsciously set you back from the things you are asking for?Have you shed dead weight- Tips; write it down, read it, soak it in, let it go, and burn it. A lot of people suggest that you bury it, but I believe those things that are buried come to life revived or revisited as someone or something else. Burn it, and know that those things you once held onto no longer serve you!

FREE-WILL means to voluntarily be given without constraint.

This is my favorite part!Know what you know and get to know what you don’t know!Manifest every single day, pay attention to how you feel, and notice where your mind wanders throughout the day.Stay focused!Don’t get desperate within your decision-making process.Acknowledge every expectation you set forth for this goal, speak it aloud.

Accepting the NO’S...Every opportunity is not your own.Be patient when you are denied of your ideas. It is not by coincidence that people say, “When one door closes another one opens”.NO is just an acronym for NEXT OPPORTUNITY. Just keep pushing, and remain humble in the process.Remember that everything is a test- how you handle this test will mold your character. The direction you choose is up to you. When I was younger my mother kept a prayer jar. She would take a glass of water, write down her prayers on a sheet of paper, fold it up, and submerge the paper into the glass.

Next to this glass, she would place a candle by it and let it burn. This represents the opportunity of doing your part, putting your best foot forth and allowing your plan to take action into the universe.

Allowing our ancestors to fulfill the blessings that were in route to being received. Now you are in the season of activating these principles and achieving the ultimate bliss you have set forth to gain.

I can’t wait to hear how these principles have encouraged you. Feel free to share, and comment below until next time!
